Agility Foundation Course
This is an introductory course for dogs that have graduated from the Scholars in Collars Basic Training Course or have reached up to Grade 4 in a dog obedience club. Dogs must have a current vaccination and, because of the course format, dogs must be people and dog friendly.
This course will provide you and your dog with foundation agility skills and is a pre-requisite for intermediate and advanced agility courses.
The foundation course includes:
- Clicker training skills
- Teaching your dog to target
- Obstacles - Weave poles, bar jumps, dog walk, tunnels and tyre jump
This 6-week course comprises six classes that are approximately 45 minutes in duration. All classes are held with dogs. Classes are held at various times & locations – please refer to the table below for current course dates. The foundation course is held in an indoor venue in Balhannah.
Class numbers are limited to 6 dogs to ensure individual attention for you and your dog during the course and bookings are essential. The course fee is $125.00 and is payable in advance. To enroll in a course, please complete the Agility enrolment form and return it with your payment.
