Class Conditions
- All members of your family are encouraged to attend training, including children. Parents
bring their children to training at their own risk. To ensure that classes are pleasurable for all students and to enable you to achieve the greatest benefit from your course, children must be well behaved and supervised at all times. An adult must accompany children under the age of 16 years.
- Bitches in season will not be permitted in a class (if your bitch comes into season during a course you will be transferred into the next available course).
- Owners are required to pick up their dogs faeces if their dog fouls on the training ground or in any other public area.
- All dogs must be kept on lead at all times unless otherwise instructed by me.
- Please follow my instruction at all times – if you are asked to move your dog away from another dog or person, please do so immediately – I will explain my reasons for doing so but this may be afterwards.
- Course fees are payable in advance and are non refundable. This allows me to limit class numbers to ensure individual attention.
- Dogs must have a current vaccination.
- All leads, collars will be deemed suitable by me. If not deemed suitable then the owner must acquire suitable equipment.
- I am committed to positive, motivational training methods and promoting responsible dog ownership. Check chains (otherwise known as correction collars or slip collars) are not used in any Scholars in Collars classes and your dog will not be allowed to wear one in class. I will discuss other equipment options, which are appropriate for your dog.
- Smoking is not permitted during training classes.
- If in my opinion a dog is not suitable for a particular class then I have the right to exclude that dog from a training course. I may require that you have a private training session/s prior to commencing a group class.
